ICAVS 11 will take place in the Faculty of Chemistry Jagiellonian University (JU) in Krakow, located at the Campus of the 600th Anniversary of the JU Revival.
The Campus is the most modern part of the JU, located in the Ruczaj district of Krakow. It’s the home of several faculties: Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences; Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology; Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science; Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science; and Faculty of Management and Social Communication; Faculty of Chemistry as well as the Natural Sciences Education Centre, National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS and the Małopolska Centre of Biotechnology. The city center is easily accessible by public transport and fast tram line with 20-25 minutes of estimated travel time.
The Faculty of Chemistry at the new Campus is highly modern didactic and conference facility, opened in 2017 with main auditorium able to host up to 400 conference participants; four bigger lecture halls for up to 90 participants; large two-story open hall for arranging exhibition space, catering and poster sessions; roof terrace and free car parking located at the front of the building.
